How does it work?

Pre Session Prep

Before we dive into the physical wardrobe edit, we’ll have a 30 minute video call. During this call we’ll recap on your current lifestyle, style concerns, what you would most like to get out of your wardrobe edit, and clearly set goals. Then, you’ll give me a little virtual tour of your wardrobe space so I can see exactly what we’re working with. This helps me understand how much space you have, what your current wardrobe setup looks like, and how much time we’ll need for the edit session itself. That way, we’re both fully agreed on the length and cost of the session, and prepared and ready to make the most of our time together.

In person Session

We start our session by sitting down over a cup of coffee and reconfirming the intention for the day and the goals that we’ve set.

Then we’ll dive into your actual wardrobe. We’ll break it down into sections: what you love and wear often, what you own but rarely wear, and what really doesn’t fit your life anymore. You’ll try things on so we can see how they work with your body shape and how you feel in them. We’ll mix and match to create new outfits, including footwear and accessories, and we’ll also identify any gaps where a new piece might be needed to tie outfits together.

Be dressed in comfortable clothing, ready to whip clothes on and off as we create fabulous new outfits from what you already own. I always recommend that you do your hair & make up in a way that makes you feel really put together, so that you look amazing from head to toe.

We’ll  photograph all of your new outfits so you have a visual log, making it super easy for you to remember and recreate those combinations.

Once your new outfits are created, we’ll neatly organize everything that’s staying so your wardrobe is cleansed, easy to navigate and inspiring every day.

Finally we’ll organise and bag the clothes we’re clearing out. Some will go into seasonal storage, some might be set aside for alterations, others can be sold on a platform like Vinted, or donated to charity if they’re no longer serving you. Please don’t worry, you will not be pushed into clearing out anything that you want to hold on to. The decision to let things go is totally yours to make.

POST SESSION

Following our session, I will follow up with a summary of key findings, recommendations and a shopping list of gaps that we have identified in your current wardrobe.

WHAT NEXT?

Should you wish to continue your style journey with me, this is the perfect time to book in a PERSONAL SHOP. We can either do this IN PERSON, or I offer an ONLINE service. This works perfectly after a Wardrobe Edit to fill the missing gaps that we have identified with the perfect pieces for you.

I recommend an edit once per season (twice a year) to keep your wardrobe working hard for you all year round.
